Miami Lakes, Fla.-based Hero K12 makes first acquisition – SchoolMint – San Francisco-based mobile and web-based platform which helps parents and districts manage the school application and enrollment process.
Hero K12 had been actively looking to add assets to capture data on the “student journey,” and help districts improve their backend operational efficiencies, says Oliver Wreford, the company’s chief product and strategy officer. There are no immediate plans to integrate SchoolMint’s technology with Hero K12’s offerings.
