Chicago Public Schools (CPS) recently partnered with SchoolMint to revamp and streamline its high school application process. The district’s GoCPS website is now live within just weeks of Board approval. Through GoCPS, students can research participating district high schools and programs (and some charter schools, though some have yet to join) to learn about their options starting this summer, months before they have to submit applications for the 2018-19 school year. Once application season rolls around in October, those students can rank their choices and apply using a single application rather than submitting different forms to different schools.
