To demonstrate this commitment, we are proud to be a signatory to the Student Privacy Pledge as a K–12 service provider who has committed to “carry out responsible stewardship and appropriate use of student personal information.”

Notice at Collection
for California residents
In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (the “CCPA”), this notice describes the categories of personal information, and the business or commercial purposes for which we use that personal information, that School Mint collects as a “business” from our California-based customers about their representatives who are residents of California.
Our customers are schools and school districts (“Schools”). This notice is for School representatives who visit our website to learn about our services, and also use our enrollment, teacher coaching and student behavior management tools and services. This notice does not include information about the categories of personal information that we collect as a “service provider” in the course of providing services to Schools. If you are a parent or student, and not a School representative, please contact your School about the collection and use of your information. We only collect your information from a School or on behalf of a School.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties in a way that is considered a “sale” under California law. We only share your information with our service providers who support the internal operations of our company or who help us provide our products and services to Schools.

When we engage with School representatives, we may collect the personal information and sensitive personal information categories listed in the tables below w. The tables also list, for each category, our expected retention period, use purposes, and whether we sell the information or share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Sensitive personal information is a subtype of personal information consisting of specific information categories. While we collect information that falls within the sensitive personal information categories listed in the table below, the CCPA does not treat this information as sensitive because we do not collect or use it to infer characteristics about a person.
